President of April 2014

I'll vote Murtoz for the time being, he seems to have a pretty good plan and he's new to the race.

VOTE FOR SAMUS APRIL 2014

 

My plans for if I win or don't win the election are basically the same, however here is a few points I thought of recently:

- The money won from the competition will go to EITHER my ETF program OR the three towns with the lowest level of funds in their banks.
- The Hoppy competition I intend to hold will have more highly valued prizes.
- Smaller towns will be "pushed out there" more to try give those towns more residents and to give smaller towns as equal a chance as the larger towns.
- Pending determination, I may sell the certificate I gain from winning this election for a price of at LEAST 5k, to either go to 5 towns (1k each), a random nation (nations will be numbered, and a random number selected) or ETF. Note that this is not certain yet, and may not be decided until at least a week into my presidency term if I gain the position.
- The new Novo-vida outpost at the location of Stormfront's old home will be renovated quicker to allow smaller towns (less than 16 members) to advertise themselves earlier and quicker.

I am not trying to bribe. If you believe I am, you are entirely mistaken. The hoppy competition would have higher-value prizes as I'd have more money to award competition winners. Additional to that, I would have more money to claim and renovate the ex-Stormfront/Cakelandia location quite close to spawn, therefore making it look better and helping smaller towns advertise themselves better, as well as potentially a significant time earlier.

Here's a rerun of what I already intend to do:
1) NO SET STRUCTURE OR SYSTEM - Meaning that any RP laws will be defined on an as-needed basis. No limitations on anything unless they're required to balance any part of the RP world.
2) CONTINUED ETF SUPPORT - Gaining President will definitely help to raise awareness owing to the higher levels of attention key players (such as town mayors) may show towards myself.
3) QUICKER ENDING OF WARS - Having President would mean that people are more likely to be influenced by my decisions and suggestions, allowing me to state quicker ways to end wars with a higher success rate and therefore saving equipment, weapons and life.
4) MORE INGAME ACTIVITIES - I intend to hold a Hoppy competition in April, however with access to the Capitol I could hold a drop party or the Colour Deal minigame (thanks Samus for reminding me) using items provided by myself or donated by others.

I love Bai1's ideas and I know he has the resources to carry them through.
I hope all of you take all of the candidates seriously and really think about who you want. Keep in mind, both me and bai have already won an election. The issue of final terms keeps coming up, and I think Bai is so very qualified for the position. Just remember again that this would be his final term if he wins and my final term if I win. I would love to see Bai as President, but I will be sad knowing it is his last term. And I'd get those same feelings if I were to win.
If I don't win this round, you can bet I'll be pumping more time and resources into next month.

I have to admit, I don't really have a plan going for what I might do as a president. All I care about if I get elected is for the people to feel safer and be able to start up much easier, and for those who have it quite comfortably, keep that comfortabillity. If I win I will have a vote in the beginning of my presidency of what people want me to do, or what they want.
And I don't know what I'll do with the money I'll gain, I guess if I go through we'll have a vote where to invest them (not to people in specific, I don't want to bribe like I did last time, it was pretty stupid of me not to notice what I was doing).

 

Go for it! Make your case for why people should vote for you in the topic where people may vote for you.

murtoz is new to the run like XpanD had mentioned, so I think he deserves a chance.
voting for bai though, because I feel like bai's also another great candidate and he'll open up more spaces for candidates like murtoz.
I highly recommend bai1 as a VP-he makes the best meatloafs.

The voting is near ending, and the tension of who will get next months President is building hour by hour as we wait for the day to dawn where we find out who it is.

So, I'm going to take this chance to re-emphasize what I intend to do as President of April 2014.

- The money from winning this month will go to my ETF reserves.
- Owing to the newly-gained position, I will use some of the RP power I gain to help advertise smaller towns who want to grow.
- Wars will be seen to by myself, cause determined and hopefully ended at a quicker rate than would be if I was not President.
- Ingame activities will be held IF people actually give me ideas. So far Milds the only one I've seen suggest any ideas, and the only idea I can remember being suggested is CTF (Capture the Flag). I can't do much if I don't get feedback (except for drop parties, because everyone likes those).
- ETF will always be continued but gaining President could help raise awareness given how people tend to favour the President over other players. It'd be the perfect chance to speak about ETF and answer related questions (so is here for that matter).

Given the unsuccessful run of an attempted organized government, that is what I will not do. If we want RP laws I'll let you tell me about it, and I'll hold it to vote whether RP laws should be created or not.

EDIT: VP applications closed. I'll be reviewing them over the next two days carefully and asking questions to those who applied (rather sadly, only three people applied, I thought there'd be more).

To all the people of xP//, read everyone's campaigns properly and ensure you're happy with your choice.

It's tough running against someone with your same ideals hahaha. I guess it's the server's choice to choose between a professional and fun-loving attitude I have no problem with Bai winning but chances are, the vote split is going to make us both lose good luck all and I'm excited to see how it all goes. Me and bai have always had relatively the same votes, and I hope one of us wins this round
